Responsibilities
- Lead Developer Experience and SDLC technical direction across domains, including AI-assisted development and agentic automation.
- Design and scale agentic systems that accelerate the software development lifecycle.
- Build reusable developer platforms, internal developer platforms, golden-path templates, quality gates, shared component libraries, and cloud infrastructure.
- Solve cross-cutting challenges involving development environments, CI/CD supply chains, authentication, security, and quality gates.
- Drive adoption of shared tools, platform capabilities, and organizational engineering standards by diagnosing friction and influencing without authority.
- Partner with Principal Architects and stakeholders on DevX, AI-DLC, platform, and engineering productivity strategy.
- Integrate engineering systems such as Jira, CI, and observability into cohesive workflows.
- Create documentation, enablement guides, implementation processes, proof of concepts, and technical standards.
- Mentor senior developers and participate in architectural reviews focused on inclusive design, quality, and consistency.
Requirements
- 8+ years of scalable software development experience with software design accountability.
- 2+ years of technical leadership experience driving organization-wide platform capabilities or engineering productivity.
- Hands-on experience building Developer Experience capabilities, internal developer platforms, golden-path templates, automated quality gates, and shared engineering component libraries.
- Expertise in Developer Experience, SDLC tooling, or modern engineering productivity systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development, agentic workflows, and LLM tooling.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, API-first design, loosely coupled systems, and modern software architecture.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code, DevSecOps practices, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience coding in Python and/or Java, with familiarity with FastAPI or Spring Boot.
- Experience with AWS or GCP cloud-native infrastructure; Azure experience is preferred.
- Ability to diagnose team friction, influence workflows, drive tool adoption, and collaborate across product, architecture, security, and engineering teams.
- Strong communication skills and comfort navigating ambiguous problems while delivering measurable, user-friendly improvements.
