Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and help select appropriate technologies.
- Review peer code and provide feedback on quality, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and coding practices.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of backend development experience.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience with at least two areas including large software systems, distributed and parallel systems, networking, web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, or security software development.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
