Responsibilities
- Design application architecture spanning user interface, middleware, and infrastructure components.
- Maintain consistent enterprise-wide application design standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business-specific application needs.
- Create and implement development plans for new and existing applications.
- Lead application development and oversee design, testing, and modification stages.
- Write application code and scripts, install and update applications, and demonstrate prototypes.
- Integrate user feedback and provide technical support to end users.
- Mentor junior application developers.
- Run diagnostic tests, debug applications, and perform integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration.
- Document application-development processes, procedures, and standards.
- Incorporate application-architecture trends into development projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 8 years of software-development experience, preferably in backend or distributed systems.
- Proficiency in core Java and familiarity with the Spring framework.
- Proficiency in MySQL and familiarity with at least one NoSQL database.
- Proficiency in distributed-systems design and familiarity with at least one messaging middleware and its underlying design principles.
- Ability to cope with stress and quickly learn new knowledge.
- Strong cross-team communication skills.
