Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of Generative AI applications, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, and LLM workflow orchestration.
  • Own technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and delivery of enterprise GenAI projects.
  • Evaluate and integrate cloud-native AI services and open-source models.
  • Build reusable components, APIs, microservices, serverless applications, and internal developer tools for LLM-powered workflows.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, MLOps engineers, platform engineers, product owners, data engineers, and AI/ML specialists.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and machine learning models in the cloud.
  • Promote model observability, governance, ethical AI, security, reliability, and performance best practices.
  • Mentor and guide software engineers, AI practitioners, junior developers, and other team members.
  • Conduct code and design reviews, lead agile ceremonies, troubleshoot issues, and document technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical strategies, progress, risks, and designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of development experience focused on cloud computing.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and cloud compute, storage, networking, and security services.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Node.js.
  • Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, best practices, and security principles.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Apache NiFi, AWS Glue, or Apache Airflow is preferred.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives or implementing new technologies.
  • Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and manage multiple projects and priorities.
