Responsibilities

  • Migrate applications to Kubernetes and cloud environments.
  • Partner with development teams on production scaling, dependency upgrades, security patches, performance improvements, and self-service tooling.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reusable CI/CD pipelines for secure and scalable delivery.
  • Implement metrics, dashboards, alerting, and metric-collection cost management using Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Configure and troubleshoot load balancing, service networking, gateways, and Kubernetes networking.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents, contribute to postmortems, and implement permanent fixes.
  • Identify repetitive operational issues and automate or eliminate them.
  • Define and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Administer Linux systems supporting container and cloud environments.
  • Document infrastructure configurations, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in DevOps or similar roles.
  • Solid Linux administration skills.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud environments, containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider, with AWS or Tencent preferred and GCP or Azure also applicable.
  • Experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Understanding of networking, operating systems, automation, distributed computing, high availability, and security best practices.
  • Practical production monitoring and logging experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalents.
  • Experience with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions, scripting in Bash, Python, Go, or similar, Helm, GitOps tooling, service mesh or API gateways, secrets management, Terragrunt, or advanced observability is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or equivalent cloud certifications are a plus.
