Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and debug software applications.
- Build Java and full-stack solutions supporting Investment Banking and Global Capital Markets Technology.
- Develop web services, RESTful APIs, service-oriented integrations, and database solutions.
- Use Spring Boot, JUnit, and other frameworks for development and automated testing.
- Participate in requirements collaboration, code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude for coding, testing, and code review.
- Collaborate with team members, communicate project deliverables, and participate in training and upskilling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java EE and core Java.
- Experience developing web services, RESTful APIs, and service-oriented architectures.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, architecture, application integration, databases, and SQL.
- Experience with Spring Boot, JUnit, and behavior-driven development or similar automated testing approaches.
- Experience with Unix/Linux.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar tools in project delivery.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices and agile methodologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
