Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Salesforce Service Cloud solutions.
- Build custom Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce pages.
- Implement Salesforce Service Cloud capabilities including Case Management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge Base, and CTI integrations.
- Develop and maintain REST and SOAP API integrations with third-party systems.
- Gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs with business analysts, stakeholders, architects, and technical teams.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and governor limits.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve production defects and technical issues.
- Support data migration using Data Loader, Workbench, or MuleSoft.
- Maintain technical documentation including design specifications, solution architecture, and test plans.
- Mentor junior developers and guide adoption of Salesforce development and engineering best practices.
- Lead moderately complex to complex engineering work independently and influence technical direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong Salesforce Service Cloud configuration and development experience.
- Experience with Flow Builder, Process Builder, Validation Rules, REST and SOAP API integrations, data models, security models, and governor limits.
- Experience with Git and Salesforce DX or Copado.
- Active Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant certifications.
- Knowledge of software and systems engineering principles, application architecture, integration patterns, debugging, deployment, performance, reliability, scalability, security, and operational resilience.
- Ability to lead complex engineering work, communicate technical concepts clearly, collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, MuleSoft or integration middleware experience, Salesforce Einstein familiarity, Salesforce Shield, Field Audit Trail, Platform Encryption, enterprise multi-cloud experience, and healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences experience.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, RHCSA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
