Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops to understand clients’ current and target technical architectures.
- Translate complex requirements into solution designs that maximise client value and support successful implementation.
- Design client-specific target architectures and define integration patterns aligned with Kaluza’s platform capabilities.
- Estimate work packages to help establish successful implementation programmes.
- Collaborate with product and technology teams on base solution architectures and technical presentations.
- Provide technical input to tender responses and customer proposals.
- Partner with Pre-Sales Engineering on proof-of-concept exercises.
- Travel to client sites across the UK, Europe, and beyond as required.
- Represent market demand to engineering teams and help inform product roadmap decisions.
- Advise clients on measurable business outcomes and support commercial value discussions.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering complex enterprise software implementations.
- Experience building and architecting systems, including solutions on AWS, finance and billing platforms, or API technologies such as GraphQL and webhooks.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to architects, C-suite stakeholders, and other audiences.
- Customer-centric and analytical approach focused on business outcomes and data-driven measures of success.
- Experience working within regulated energy retailers, particularly with billing, metering, and settlements systems, is desired.
- Experience architecting SaaS solutions in the energy industry is an advantage.
- Experience designing large-scale, impactful software systems is an advantage.
- Experience working with or for a large energy retailer is an advantage.
