Base Salary

$129k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix production software issues.
  • Develop monitoring solutions and automate support processes.
  • Perform software maintenance and configuration.
  • Implement fixes and enhancements for internally developed software using languages such as Perl, Ruby, C/C++, Java, and Python.
  • Update, track, and resolve technical challenges while working alongside development teams on AWS projects.
  • Document systems and improve operational scalability for platform services deployed in air-gapped regions.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 7 years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals, including networking, storage, and operating systems.
  • Programming experience in at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
  • Current, active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility or above.
  • Preferred experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java and with Agile environments using Scrum methodology.
