Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with banking and capital markets clients and serve as a primary contact for strategic discussions.
- Lead tailored technical proposal development and design solutions involving data modernization, digital transformation, and fintech integration.
- Drive account growth through upsell and cross-sell opportunities while supporting revenue targets.
- Coordinate advisory, technology, operations, and multi-shore delivery teams to ensure effective execution.
- Provide technical design guidance and strategic consulting for large-scale engagements.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics and contribute to presentations, webinars, and whitepapers.
- Mentor junior team members and support capability building and internal training.
Requirements
- Hands-on development experience as a tech lead focused on ETL technologies, SQL, big data, data pipelines, MongoDB, Kafka, Elasticsearch, APIs, streaming, and cloud technologies.
- Experience loading and unloading data from NoSQL and in-memory caching databases and processing structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, data analytics, cloud platforms, and AI/ML tools.
- 10+ years of experience in banking, capital markets, or financial consulting, including at least 5 years in a leadership or client-facing role.
- 15+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar accounts, driving revenue growth, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong expertise in technical design discussions, strategic consulting, enterprise data management, proposal development, and large-scale implementations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, conflict resolution, prioritization, and client relationship skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, computer science, or a related field.
