Base Salary
$80k - $266k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate client requirements into differentiated, deliverable SAP solutions using knowledge of SAP technology, functions, and platforms.
- Collaborate with sales pursuit and delivery teams on deal strategy, value propositions, solution design, estimation, costing, and solution presentations.
- Lead complex sales cycles and oversee accurate, strategically aligned RFI and RFP responses.
- Design solutions and drive technology-solution sign-off, delivery transition, service shaping, delivery structure, locations, and related costs.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with clients, executives, prospects, internal teams, and delivery organizations.
- Co-create solutions with clients and advise on SAP best practices, integration strategies, and business outcomes.
- Support sales and marketing events, participate in client meetings and workshops, and maintain relevant authorization training and certifications.
- Mentor fellow Solution Architects and contribute thought leadership across the team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of SAP delivery experience with a strong functional background.
- At least 3 years of SAP solution planning and deal-shaping experience, including RFP responses, scoping, estimation, costing, and solution-orals presentations.
- At least 3 years of SAP industry experience in one or two major industries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent minimum 12 years of work experience; an associate degree requires at least 6 years of work experience.
- Expertise in solution storylines, client value propositions, pre-sales, solution architecture, estimating, sizing, dependencies, assumptions, and deal structures.
- Experience with executive stakeholders, client workshops, collaborative solutioning, matrix organizations, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, relationship-building, influencing, business-IT alignment, and client-business understanding skills.
- Working knowledge of financials, cost-price-margin concepts, and Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.
- Preferred knowledge of SAP core-module integration, SAP Activate Methodology, SAP Best Practices, and SAP IS-Oil, SAP IS-U/CR&B, SAP Retail, or SAP SuccessFactors.
