Responsibilities
- Create, design, and develop complex enterprise-level Nevio Services and extension framework solutions.
- Define system specifications and design technology solutions in collaboration with development teams.
- Evaluate software and hardware options and define integration methods.
- Lead architecture implementation, technical problem resolution, infrastructure alignment, and major code reviews.
- Address performance, security, and non-functional requirements and prepare architectural diagrams.
- Create prototypes using defined user interfaces and underlying tools and technologies.
- Drive engineering standards, innovation, operational performance, process improvements, and new service opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, represent engineering in technical initiatives, and mentor and coach team members.
- Support onboarding, training, technical knowledge-sharing sessions, and the Architect community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
- 15+ years of experience in software development.
- Deep hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, object-oriented design, data structures, design patterns, microservices, and enterprise solution development.
- Experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, RxJS, NgRx, and Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Grails, or Apache Wicket.
- Knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud, cloud-native design, monitoring, data stores, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Knowledge of SOA, EDA, Quarkus, SaaS, web security principles, SOAP, REST web services, and integration standards.
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases, NoSQL databases, content management systems, CDNs, and cloud-based development.
- Experience with continuous integration, Test Driven Development, Jenkins, SonarQube, Bitbucket, Git, or Stash.
- Experience with Grafana, JMeter, performance troubleshooting, monitoring, PCI-DSS, and GDPR-related processes.
- Knowledge of SAFe and agile ways of working; travel-domain experience is a plus.
