Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for critical applications and services.
- Monitor application health, system performance, and service availability across AWS environments.
- Lead incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and service restoration.
- Maintain application reliability, scalability, and operational stability.
- Support CI/CD deployment pipelines and release processes.
- Troubleshoot Java applications using logs, exceptions, thread dumps, and performance metrics.
- Investigate database issues through SQL/Oracle queries and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and platform teams to resolve application and environment issues.
- Implement automation to reduce manual operational work.
- Maintain monitoring, alerting, operational runbooks, and support documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotations and major incident response.
- Drive reliability, resiliency, and operational excellence improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Application Support, or Production Support.
- Hands-on experience supporting applications in AWS cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of SRE principles, including availability, scalability, monitoring, and incident management.
- Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Java application architecture and troubleshooting.
- Strong SQL and database support experience, including query analysis and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
