Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end implementation of secure and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes platforms, including EKS and containerized workloads.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Integrate security controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks into delivery pipelines.
- Support IAM, secrets management, encryption, network security, vulnerability remediation, and risk mitigation.
- Establish monitoring, observability, and alerting using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and Splunk.
- Automate manual processes to improve deployment speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Manage production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, MLOps, and security teams to improve release velocity and operational stability.
- Support multi-cloud and hybrid environments and contribute reusable automation frameworks and deployment patterns.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, site reliability engineering, or related areas.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container tools such as Docker and Helm.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Understanding of DevSecOps, cloud security, secrets management, encryption, and network security.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, or CloudWatch for monitoring and observability.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience supporting production systems, SLAs, incident response, and operational troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience may be considered.
- Preferred qualifications include AI/ML or data engineering platform experience, enterprise cloud transformation experience, security and compliance knowledge, and certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, CKA, CKAD, CISSP, or CCSP.
