Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, monitor, and enhance reliable, scalable, secure infrastructure and platform solutions.
- Plan and execute infrastructure integration into TransUnion’s group-wide cloud platform.
- Migrate infrastructure from AWS to Google Cloud Platform while minimizing disruption.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment processes with development teams.
- Maintain security posture and compliance with SOC-2 and ISO 27001 standards.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure outages and incidents, including root cause analysis.
- Document infrastructure, systems, and processes and promote DevOps and SRE best practices.
Requirements
- Strong Linux systems administration experience, including firewall management and hardening.
- Expertise with Docker and container orchestration.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.
- Experience with network design, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, or PHP.
- Experience with version control systems, ideally Git.
- Experience configuring Apache and Nginx web servers; MSSQL Server is a nice-to-have.
- Database management experience with MySQL and MongoDB, including high availability and backup solutions.
- Significant experience managing AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with GCP Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and IAM.
- Familiarity with configuration management and IT automation tools.
- Strong understanding of DevOps and SRE principles.
