Responsibilities
- Design, build, version, test, and maintain enterprise shared GitHub Actions, including Composite Actions and Reusable Workflows.
- Create standardized delivery templates and secure Golden Paths for product engineering teams.
- Build and maintain modular, reusable, documented Terraform modules and infrastructure-as-code assets.
- Embed SAST, DAST, SCA, SBOM generation, supply-chain protections, and policy-as-code guardrails into delivery workflows.
- Develop scalable, resilient, and secure CI/CD patterns using least-privilege principles.
- Develop Python or Golang automation services and internal developer tooling for self-service onboarding, secure defaults, and quality checks.
- Contribute to solutions spanning cloud, serverless, containerized, compute, and hybrid environments, including reference architectures and implementation guidance.
- Define and execute unit, integration, and environment-validation testing strategies for infrastructure code and automation.
- Partner with platform consumers to drive adoption, gather feedback, and continuously improve reusable assets and developer experience.
- Apply AI tools and techniques to improve development speed, quality, secure design, and engineering productivity.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevSecOps, or a related technical engineering discipline.
- Hands-on enterprise experience authoring, testing, and maintaining centralized reusable GitHub Actions, Composite Actions, and Reusable Workflows.
- Knowledge of GitHub Actions semantic versioning, supply-chain pinning, and pipeline-to-AWS authentication using OpenID Connect.
- Strong AWS experience across compute, networking, security, and serverless architectures.
- Advanced Terraform and reusable infrastructure-as-code design expertise.
- Strong scripting or software engineering capability in Python or Golang.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps controls, including SAST, DAST, SCA, SBOM, and software supply-chain security.
- Experience designing and implementing secure enterprise CI/CD pipelines and applying security-by-design, least privilege, and secure architecture principles.
- Experience building scalable, reusable, modular platform solutions rather than one-off implementations.
- Ability to create clear user documentation and architecture artifacts and collaborate across engineering, security, and architecture teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant cloud, security, infrastructure, or DevOps/DevSecOps certifications are advantageous.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration, hybrid or on-premises environments, Azure cloud services, Java, .NET, React, AI-enabled engineering, or Terratest is desirable.
