Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on GCP and partially on AWS.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Develop and maintain automation with Ansible and SaltStack.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Manage Kubernetes environments including GKE and EKS, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or similar shell languages.
- Implement cloud security best practices covering IAM, network security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with application, security, and platform teams to support production workloads.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform issues and support incident resolution.
- Support production environments and participate in on-call operations.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Compute, IAM, Networking, GKE, and Monitoring.
- Working experience with AWS, including EC2, IAM, VPC, and core services.
- Strong hands-on Terraform experience for designing and managing infrastructure as code; Terraform is mandatory.
- Terraform certification is mandatory, such as HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
- Strong experience with Ansible and SaltStack.
- Experience with Datadog, Splunk, or similar monitoring and observability tools.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Good understanding of cloud security concepts, IAM, and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting production environments and on-call operations.
- Experience with multi-cloud architectures and additional GCP or AWS certifications are preferred.
