Responsibilities

  • Define feature-level SSIT test strategies, testability requirements, acceptance criteria, entry and exit criteria, coverage targets, and risk-based priorities.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests for operation and feature coverage, numerical accuracy, model-level correctness, and backend interface contracts.
  • Validate functional correctness, latency, and memory on Snapdragon SoCs using hardware-in-the-loop infrastructure.
  • Build Python/PyTest test suites and integrate SSIT gates into the Delegates CI pipeline.
  • Use AI-assisted tooling and agentic workflows, including Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, for test generation, coverage analysis, and failure triage.
  • Triage failures across ML frameworks, QNN runtime, and HTP hardware, isolate root causes, and drive resolution with development owners.
  • Define SSIT-to-QA/SIT handoff criteria and provide test results, known issues, coverage gaps, and risk summaries.
  • Maintain traceability between SSIT artifacts and QA/SIT plans through JIRA and feed relevant downstream defects back into SSIT coverage.
  • Set SSIT quality strategy and test architecture for the Delegates portfolio, mentor engineers, and establish test coverage, triage, and handoff standards.
  • Collaborate with CI, build, and release engineers to embed SSIT automation in delivery pipelines and expose readiness signals to Program Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 4+ years of Software Engineering or related experience; or a master's degree plus 3+ years; or a PhD plus 2+ years.

  • Strong Python skills and hands-on experience building automated test frameworks using PyTest or an equivalent.
  • C/C++ reading and debugging proficiency, including development and debugging of ORT unit tests.
  • Experience with subsystem or integration testing in a hardware/software product development cycle.
  • Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience validating ML inference frameworks such as ONNX Runtime, ExecuTorch, or TFLite/LiteRT.
  • Hands-on experience with Qualcomm QNN, HTP/DSP, or Snapdragon SoC-based on-device validation.
  • Familiarity with quantization correctness, operation-level numerical comparison, and tolerance analysis.
  • Cross-platform test experience with Linux, Android, and Windows on ARM64 or x86.
  • Experience with JIRA defect tracking and Agile/scrum development practices.
  • Preferred experience includes a bachelor's degree with 8 years or a master's degree with 6 years in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Benefits

  • Annual discretionary bonus program and potential annual RSU grants are offered in addition to base pay.
  • Competitive benefits package supporting employees at work, at home, and at play.
