Base Salary
$92k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct Government Acceptance, functional, and regression testing of SKL User Application Software and other fill devices.
- Follow standard operating procedures in the Last Mile COMSEC Vault and Last Mile Test/iApp Development Lab.
- Prepare COMSEC transfer requests, CMS plans, email authorizations, test status reports, program change requests, and standard test reports.
- Develop SKL test procedures and provide technical support for SKL profiles supporting Navy ECUs.
- Maintain and use KMI Test Infrastructure to order keys and certificates and push test materials to development systems.
- Provide subject matter expert support to Navy fleet users and the Tier 3 Help Desk.
- Operate and maintain MGC equipment and Last Mile Vault equipment.
- Conduct monthly audits of fill devices and destruction of physical and electronic keys.
- Peer review deliverable documents and reports and participate in weekly SKL TELCONs.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance.
- BS degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience or a master's degree with 6–10 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may substitute for a degree.
- At least five years of COMSEC operations experience as a Local Element user or KOA manager.
- At least three years of experience with SKLs and similar fill devices.
- Experience operating and maintaining MGC equipment, ECUs including tactical radios and cryptographic devices, and Secured Telephone Equipment.
- Experience with military communications protocols and policies.
- DoD 8570-approved security certification, such as Security+, required within 90 days after hire.
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies, identify process improvements, and understand software requirements management and Agile development methodologies.
