Base Salary

$130k - $190k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Integrate AI/ML components into existing applications, services, and pipelines with an emphasis on reliability and maintainability.
  • Improve latency, throughput, reliability, and resource efficiency across systems and models.
  • Design and implement scalable, resilient AI/ML systems that evolve with new use cases.
  • Help ensure AI/ML systems meet enterprise expectations for security, compliance, observability, and operational readiness.
  • Support production deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of AI/ML systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver stable AI capabilities and lead technical projects in matrix environments.
  • Mentor others and take on increasing ownership as the role develops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field; a master’s degree and/or PhD is preferred.
  • At least eight years of relevant software engineering experience, including three to five years of AI/ML experience.
  • Proven track record of deploying AI/ML solutions in production.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar languages, with experience using libraries such as TensorFlow and Scikit-learn.
  • Essential experience with RAG.
  • Strong background in statistics, machine learning algorithms, deep learning, neural networks, and system architecture.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, data processing technologies, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and system design patterns.
  • Experience with MLOps or ML systems engineering practices such as monitoring, model versioning, or rollback strategies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with containerized or cloud-based deployment, performance tuning, reliability engineering, and operational support for AI/ML systems is preferred.
  • Ability to lead technical projects, work in matrix environments, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
