Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend components for Advice Centre and branch technology applications.
- Lead the development of GenAI-powered applications that support call centre agents and simplify complex workflows.
- Integrate APIs and cloud-based services to enhance application functionality.
- Collaborate with development leads and cross-functional teams to deliver maintainable, high-quality code.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Guide engineering excellence, innovation, best practices, and the transition to in-house technology.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of software development experience, including experience with cloud services, microservices, GenAI, and data analysis.
- Expertise designing and building complex frontend applications using React or modern frameworks such as Angular.
- Server-side development experience with Node.js, Java, or Python.
- Hands-on experience integrating APIs and cloud-based services.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, verbal communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with advanced observability tools is preferred.
- Deep understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with shift-left testing, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Strategic thinking and strong interpersonal skills are preferred.
