Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and extend automated test frameworks for mobile applications.
Define and uphold test quality standards and contribute to product test strategies.
Write maintainable integration, API, regression, contract, smoke, and end-to-end tests.
Build reusable test utilities, mocks, and simulators.
Integrate automated testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.
Own the structure, health, and relevance of test suites and regression packs.
Test front-end, back-end, APIs, and distributed microservices.
Perform and organize mobile application performance and cross-device testing across iOS and Android.
Collaborate with engineering, product, delivery, and cross-functional teams to test cross-squad functionality.
Investigate defects and production issues, support manual QA, and validate fixes through automation.
Help embed quality practices early in the software development lifecycle.

4+ years of experience in test automation for mobile applications.
Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks and API testing tools.
Confident writing automated tests in JavaScript or TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with Selenium, Charles Proxy, Maestro, Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, and UIAutomator.
Expertise designing and executing end-to-end test strategies aligned with Agile delivery.
Experience with Xcode, Android Studio, TestFlight, and Amazon Device Farm.
Familiarity with Kafka, AWS EventBridge, AWS Step Functions, queues, streams, and SnapLogic.
Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Postman, and RestAssured.
Experience embedding quality early in the SDLC and working with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve defects.
Computer Science or Information Technology degree, diploma, or similar qualification is preferred.
CSTAE, ASTQB, ISTQB Advanced, or Certified Automation Tester certification is preferred.
Experience using Jira and Xray for test management is preferred.
