Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend components and services using C++ and Java.
- Build and enhance web-based user interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, and related front-end tools.
- Integrate systems and handle data exchange using JSON and XML.
- Implement secure and reliable file-transfer protocols including SFTP, FTPS, HTTP/S, and FTP/S.
- Design and implement automated unit and integration tests.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to support high-quality releases.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives within Agile Scrum environments.
- Use version-control and collaboration tools such as Git, SVN, TFS, and JIRA.
- Contribute to technical documentation and architecture reviews.
- Continue learning about cloud platforms, security standards, and automation technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5+ years of software development experience; internships and academic projects are welcome.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills in Modern C++ and Java.
- Familiarity with API integration using JSON.
- Experience developing interactive front ends with JavaScript and jQuery.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with version-control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Exposure to collaboration tools such as JIRA, TFS, or similar.
- Understanding of or experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to write clean, efficient, maintainable code.
- Security-first mindset, particularly regarding networking and data exchange.
- Nice to have experience with testing frameworks and tools such as JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Nice to have familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
