Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve large-scale engineering systems, services, and tools supporting build, test, and release pipelines.
- Lead end-to-end feature crews and major platform initiatives from problem framing and design through production deployment and live-site ownership.
- Make architecture and design decisions balancing developer productivity, reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Act as a technical authority in areas such as CI execution, test reliability, release gating, and platform observability.
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and program teams to establish ownership boundaries and platform contracts.
- Raise engineering quality through design reviews, code reviews, operational rigor, and best-practice guidance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues spanning multiple services and layers.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to team engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with CI/CD systems, developer productivity platforms, or large-scale test infrastructure.
- Ability to pass Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience designing and building distributed systems or cloud-based services.
- Preferred: familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure, and operating production services with monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Preferred: background debugging complex distributed systems and improving reliability and performance.
- Preferred: experience shaping engineering standards, quality gates, or platform contracts.
- Preferred: demonstrated mentorship, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement.

- Estonia base pay range is €40,600.00–€66,500.00 per year, with certain roles potentially eligible for additional benefits and compensation.
