Base Salary
$107k - $178k/yr
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain enterprise Databricks environments, including configurations, clusters, capacity, performance, and operational stability.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot reliability and performance issues, and manage platform resources across development, testing, and production.
- Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code solutions for Azure-based data infrastructure.
- Build and support data ingestion frameworks and pipelines and optimize data processing workloads.
- Implement Databricks Unity Catalog governance, data access controls, permissions, metadata, lineage, and data quality practices.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, operational reviews, documentation, and continuous platform improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Experience administering Databricks environments and supporting Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
- Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, data ingestion solutions, production environments, and operational workloads.
- Strong SQL and troubleshooting skills, with knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and modern data architecture.
- Preferred qualifications include Unity Catalog, Azure Data Lake, Snowflake, Python, cloud analytics environments, CI/CD and deployment automation, and healthcare or regulated-industry experience.
