Responsibilities
- Design and operate reliable, scalable backend services for monetization capabilities.
- Own the architecture and implementation of critical monetization data workflows.
- Establish guarantees for correctness, availability, security, and performance.
- Build reusable platform capabilities and developer tools for product teams.
- Partner with various teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Lead technical design and delivery of complex, cross-functional projects.
- Improve observability and operational excellence of critical services.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture and code reviews.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Go, Java, Python, Rust, or C++.
- Strong fundamentals in API design, data modeling, and distributed systems.
- Experience designing systems with rigorous correctness and reliability requirements.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and navigate ambiguity.
- Product-oriented mindset with clear communication skills.
- Strong sense of engineering excellence and a design-before-implementation approach.
