Base Salary

$68k - $90k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate cloud-based software and data solutions for marketing products.
  • Translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical designs, reusable components, and testable modules.
  • Implement business logic, APIs, services, integrations, identity-resolution capabilities, and data-processing components.
  • Research source data and system relationships while improving data quality and lineage for identity resolution and dataset onboarding.
  • Apply software development lifecycle practices including implementation, automated testing, code review, observability, and CI/CD.
  • Build unit, integration, and data-quality tests to validate application behavior and output accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Develop and optimize algorithms for identity matching, decisioning, validation, and other product capabilities.
  • Diagnose defects and production issues across code, services, databases, data stores, and distributed workflows.
  • Improve application performance, reliability, and cost while contributing to production support and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate requirements, technical concepts, risks, status, and timelines to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, documentation, and agile team activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience with increasing responsibility in software and/or data engineering roles.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational and non-relational data modeling.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, with Python preferred.
  • Experience building clean, testable application logic and reusable components.
  • Experience with cloud-based applications, databases, and data warehouses, with Snowflake preferred.
  • Hands-on experience using modern AI coding assistants and agent-based tools securely with validation and review.
  • Knowledge of Git-based source control, CI/CD, automated testing, issue tracking tools such as JIRA, and agile delivery.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms and cloud-native security and operations, with AWS preferred and GCP or Azure acceptable.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration or event-driven processing; Airflow and Snowflake streams/tasks are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design, debugging, and distributed-system fundamentals.
  • Basic Unix/Linux command-line skills.
  • Experience working with PII data is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ownership, accountability, attention to detail, and bias for action.
