Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow CMDB solutions including Workspace views, Platform Analytics dashboards and indicators, Service Catalog items, CMDB Health and Relationship Health rules, ownership routing, and data quality automation.
- Build analytics indicators, KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards covering CI ownership, completeness, classification, health trends, and Attack Surface Management metrics.
- Develop and maintain CMDB Workspace and Service Catalog items, forms, and workflows for CI registration, ownership changes, retirement, and data correction.
- Contribute to SRM and ITSM enhancements as CMDB workload permits.
- Monitor CMDB and CI relationship health, analyze data quality trends, and identify remediation opportunities.
- Validate Discovery data ingestion, investigate pattern and ingestion issues, and reconcile CI data across applications, infrastructure, and source systems.
- Translate governance and initiative needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, dashboards, UAT scenarios, and ServiceNow-ready backlog items.
- Support backlog intake, prioritization, dependency tracking, implementation readiness, data mapping validation, and stakeholder acceptance.
- Develop knowledge articles and collaborate with ITSM SMEs to improve CMDB practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions, including forms, workflows, business rules, script includes, UI policies, and ACLs, with CMDB or related ITSM, ITOM, or SecOps integration experience.
- 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow CMDB operations, CI relationship health, data quality, maintenance, quality checks, and remediation.
- 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow Discovery analysis, including reviewing discovered CI data, identifying ingestion issues, and reconciling multiple data sources.
- 2+ years of experience building Performance Analytics or Platform Analytics indicators, KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards.
- 2+ years of experience developing ServiceNow Service Catalog items and workflows.
- Experience translating operational, security, or governance requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, dashboards, or UAT plans and progressing them through Agile delivery using Jira or ServiceNow SPM.
- Experience with REST and JSON APIs, including GraphQL.
- Experience with ITIL Configuration Management, the CSDM framework, and CI lifecycle management principles.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification and Certified Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations CMDB and CSDM certification.
- Preferred experience includes IRE rules, Service Graph Connectors, Integration Hub, CI Class Manager, Flow Designer, GlideAjax, scripted REST APIs, CSDM in production, and vulnerability data integration through ServiceNow Vulnerability Response.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification and strong written communication skills are preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
