Base Salary
$88k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end ML infrastructure covering data processing, feature management, and model serving.
- Design and lead implementation of ML platforms supporting diverse workloads.
- Build scalable data processing systems and feature platforms for large-scale ML workloads.
- Design serving architectures for real-time and batch inference, including optimization and scaling.
- Establish ML observability, monitoring, automation, and operational excellence practices.
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives, make infrastructure decisions across the ML lifecycle, and mentor platform engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years focused on ML infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and large-scale data processing.
- Strong background in ML platform development and MLOps practices.
- Experience building production ML infrastructure for critical business applications.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives.
- Expertise with Spark, Beam, feature stores, ML serving platforms, inference optimization, container orchestration, cloud platforms, data pipelines, monitoring, and observability.
- Preferred qualifications include GPU infrastructure optimization, high-performance computing, open-source ML infrastructure contributions, ML security and compliance experience, and a master's degree in computer science or a related field.
