Base Salary

$272k - $302k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate integrations across Oracle Fusion, Zip, and connected systems using APIs, events, messaging, and batch interfaces.
  • Build backend services, first-party procurement applications, and user-facing workflows for intake, approvals, transaction visibility, and exception resolution.
  • Write maintainable code and reusable integration components with version control, code review, automated testing, and repeatable deployment and rollback practices.
  • Define data contracts, mappings, identifiers, lifecycle states, and authoritative data ownership across systems.
  • Engineer reliable processing with validation, idempotency, retries, monitoring, alerting, reconciliation, recovery, and system-of-record readback.
  • Build and evaluate AI-enabled workflows with scoped tool access, approval boundaries, audit trails, and safe error handling.
  • Configure Oracle Fusion and Zip procurement workflows, including intake fields, routing, approvals, and supplier settings.
  • Own integration and regression testing, UAT, migration validation, staged rollout, release readiness, and operational documentation.
  • Own the procurement applications and integrations roadmap, including reusable capabilities and build-versus-configure decisions.
  • Manage production health and incident resolution while protecting access, financial controls, and transaction reliability.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise integrations, software engineering, or business systems engineering with substantial hands-on production ownership.
  • Ability to write, review, test, and debug production code in Python or TypeScript and use SQL for data investigation, reconciliation, and validation.
  • Hands-on experience integrating with Oracle Fusion and understanding Procurement and Payables transactions, APIs, data models, and interfaces.
  • Experience designing and shipping APIs, services, or internal applications and explaining implementation choices, failure modes, and production results.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, authorization, data modeling, and event-driven or message-based integration patterns.
  • Experience with OIC, Workato, or comparable integration platforms and judgment about when to use custom code, native APIs, or an integration platform.
  • Experience with production troubleshooting and service reliability, including observability, retries, reconciliation, incident response, and recovery.
  • Understanding of the procure-to-pay lifecycle, including suppliers, purchase orders, receiving, matching, invoices, payments, accounting, and controls.
  • Ability to make targeted functional configuration changes and validate their business impact; Zip experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of secure engineering and financial-control practices, including least privilege, segregation of duties, sensitive-change approvals, and auditable transaction histories.
  • Clear communication with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounting, Risk, and Engineering stakeholders, plus interest in building and evaluating AI-enabled applications.
