Software Engineer III - Java Fullstack

- Design, develop, debug, and maintain secure, scalable production software solutions.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Build and maintain Java and React applications using AWS.
- Apply testing, operational stability, secure coding, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets and create visualizations and reporting to improve applications and systems.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Guide peers on responsible and effective use of AI in engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment.
- Experience with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with Java, React, and AWS.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating and refining their generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
