Responsibilities
- Drive the technical direction and operational excellence of the AI/ML Platform across the machine learning development lifecycle.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable platform services for model training, inference, data processing, deployment, and ML artifact management.
- Build automated deployment pipelines and workflow systems for ML models and artifacts from development through production.
- Develop low-latency prediction and inference services and tools for operating ML artifacts in production.
- Automate large-scale data transformation, processing, and data-store operations supporting model training and validation.
- Create monitoring and logging systems for model performance, system health, operational reliability, and platform efficiency.
- Implement model version control, governance, privacy, security, and compliance practices.
- Collaborate with machine learning researchers, data engineers, software developers, product managers, architects, and operations teams.
- Own critical platform components, provide architectural direction, and identify opportunities for ongoing automation and optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software development and engineering delivering production systems and services.
- Strong background in AI/ML, including deep learning, statistical modeling, neural networks, and the model development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Deep understanding of performance metrics and latency optimization for serving systems.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and work effectively across teams.
- Preferred: experience with GPU computing and tools such as CUDA or OpenCL.
- Preferred: experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka for large-scale distributed data processing.
- Preferred: familiarity with MLflow, Kubeflow, or TensorBoard for production model monitoring and management.
- Preferred: experience with high-performance computing techniques and technologies for AI/ML workloads.
