Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure Platform
Genius SportsResponsibilities
- Lead and implement technical initiatives for the infrastructure platform across a variety of projects
- Build and support multi-account and multi-region Kubernetes clusters
- Develop MLOps capabilities and standardized deployment approaches
- Contribute to the company-wide authentication platform
- Engage product engineering stakeholders to scope requests and identify shared organizational pain points
- Prioritize infrastructure platform initiatives and drive platform adoption
- Mentor and help develop the engineering team
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience building software and operating platforms
- Experience building applications and automations that eliminate toil for engineering teams
- Understanding of developer experience and how to increase engineering productivity across an organization
- Strong communication skills to drive platform adoption among new teams
- Passion for mentoring and developing teammates
- Experience developing agentic environments and harnessing is a bonus
- Production experience with Rust is a bonus
- Open-source contribution history is a bonus
- Full-stack software development experience with web applications or data pipelines is a bonus
