Responsibilities
- Lead and implement technical initiatives for the infrastructure platform team
- Build and support multi-account and multi-region Kubernetes clusters
- Develop MLOps capabilities, standardized deployments, and a company-wide authentication platform
- Engage product engineering stakeholders to scope requests and identify shared organizational pain points
- Prioritize initiatives that improve consistency, cohesion, and developer productivity across engineering teams
- Drive adoption of infrastructure platform capabilities among new teams
- Mentor and develop other engineers
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience building software and operating platforms
- Experience building applications and automations that eliminate toil for engineering teams
- Understanding of developer experience and how to increase engineering output across an organization
- Strong communication skills for driving adoption of platform initiatives
- Passion for mentoring and developing team members
- Experience with agentic environments and harnessing is a bonus
- Production experience with Rust is a bonus
- Open-source contributions are a bonus
- Full-stack software development experience with web applications or data pipelines is a bonus
