Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain IoT telemetry ingestion and processing pipelines.
- Build RESTful APIs, backend services, asynchronous workflows, and event-driven systems.
- Design data models and efficient queries for telemetry and asset data using NoSQL databases.
- Develop and deploy services with Azure IoT Hub, Event Hub, Azure Functions, and Azure App Services.
- Support multi-tenant systems, performance improvements, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
- Resolve development and production issues and collaborate through GitHub-based workflows.
Requirements
- Require 3–6 years of backend development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of C#/.NET Core/ASP.NET, Python, or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of REST API development and backend service architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Cosmos DB or MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of Azure IoT Hub/Event Hub, Azure Functions, and Azure App Services.
- Basic understanding of event-driven architecture and IoT telemetry processing.
- Experience with Git-based workflows, unit testing, and effective debugging.
- Preferred experience includes industrial IoT or manufacturing, MQTT, Modbus, OPC-UA, microservices, real-time streaming, time-series data, performance optimization, authentication, authorization, API security, logging, monitoring, and observability tools.
