Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Invent and implement LLM-based workflows to accelerate engineering and business processes.
- Design, implement, deploy, and maintain production machine learning models for nuclear-system design and analysis.
- Develop physics-informed surrogate models for real-time digital twins.
- Ensure rigorous security and information control for AI initiatives and workflows.
- Lead company-wide initiatives from project inception through delivery and maintenance.
- Grow and manage a team of software engineers supporting AI initiatives.
- Present roadmaps, product demos, and progress updates to senior leadership.
- Gather feedback from individual contributors and department leadership and ensure departmental needs are addressed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent software engineering experience.
- Experience managing and/or integrating AI into large corporate data ontologies.
- Experience leading company-wide initiatives through delivery and maintenance.
- Experience with physics-informed machine learning, surrogates, symbolic encodings, or digital twins.
- Fluency in Python.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelining and Git proficiency.
- Experience growing small software organizations and working with large data collection pipelines.
- Knowledge of optimization, statistics, and design of experiments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
