Base Salary
$119k - $126k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for airborne computers, crypto products, and weapon control systems.
- Work on cross-functional teams delivering mission-critical aviation and defense systems.
- Design low-level software solutions using hardware specifications and hardware interfaces.
- Apply programming, optimization, technical standards, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Provide technical leadership and support software management, planning, and resource scheduling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field plus a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus three years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with embedded C/C++ and Linux.
- Experience with embedded software development, RTOS, and hardware/software integration.
- Knowledge of programming principles and optimization strategies, with experience in Assembly, C/C++, Python, Rust, or other languages.
- Familiarity with DO-178-compliant software engineering lifecycle practices.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance at the time of hire.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Software development leadership and technical leadership experience are preferred.
