Base Salary
$119k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software for embedded systems, products, and services.
- Contribute as a member of an agile software team supporting land and airborne systems.
- Apply technical standards and methodologies to solve engineering challenges.
- Provide technical leadership and help position teammates for success.
- Champion technology trends, new ideas, and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field plus at least five years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus at least three years of relevant experience.
- Expert programming experience in C and C++; knowledge of Python or Rust is preferred.
- Experience with embedded software development, Linux, RTOS, and hardware/software integration.
- Familiarity with DO-178-compliant software engineering lifecycles or experience in a regulated industry is preferred.
- Applicants must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
- Technical leadership, collaboration, and knowledge of technology trends are preferred.
- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes is preferred.
