Base Salary
$207k - $244k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate systems for Vanta’s FedRAMP environments, including automated release, vulnerability remediation, and evidence-generation pipelines
- Design and maintain vulnerability management platforms for detection, remediation, and compliance reporting across FedRAMP and non-FedRAMP environments
- Define and evolve production reliability practices, including SLOs, incident response patterns, observability standards, service catalogs, metrics dashboards, and SLA definitions
- Improve incident response workflows and systems to accelerate recovery
- Improve the reliability of CI and deployment workflows while maintaining deployment velocity
- Partner with product teams on reliability best practices, operational readiness reviews, and resilient service design
- Lead design and improvement of datacenter and environment build-outs for future FedRAMP levels and regional expansion
- Solve complex scalability, performance, service reliability, and data-throughput challenges
- Contribute to Vanta’s engineering culture as the company grows
Requirements
- Experience operating services across multiple environments requiring strict compliance, including FedRAMP
- Experience serving as a technical lead for large-scale reliability initiatives across an entire product engineering organization
- Technical leadership experience on infrastructure or platform teams
- Experience with infrastructure, AWS services, and scaling platforms in fast-growing environments
- Ability to empower teams to build resilient and scalable production services
- Strong judgment regarding trade-offs and product sense when creating highly available infrastructure and services
