Base Salary
$230k - $322k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to MLEs and SWEs in ACU.
- Develop evaluation systems and quality monitoring systems for content understanding signals.
- Drive operational excellence for ACU’s ML systems by defining SLOs and dashboards.
- Build and evolve content understanding capabilities for commercial conversations.
- Lead design and implementation of signals pipelines and produce an ACU signals registry.
- Drive LLM and modern ML best practices within ACU.
- Operate across the full ML lifecycle, designing scalable MLOps pipelines.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant MLE experience delivering production ML systems at scale.
- Demonstrated Staff-level technical leadership with architecture decisions and design reviews.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs to various stakeholders.
- Strong track record building and shipping NLP and content understanding models to production.
- Practical experience using LLMs in production for labeling and evaluation.
- Deep experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar, and production-quality code in Python.
- Experience designing ML systems and pipelines for high-traffic surfaces.
