Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction, architecture, configuration strategy, and standards for custom SAP EWM solutions.
- Analyze business needs and translate them into functional specifications and customized SAP EWM designs.
- Supervise and review consultant configuration work and guide project teams through the implementation lifecycle.
- Ensure integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules and external enterprise systems.
- Resolve complex design and process issues while maintaining solution quality, scalability, performance, and consistency.
- Collaborate with client IT, business, and cross-functional teams to align solutions with business needs.
- Advise client stakeholders on industry best practices and process optimization.
- Lead software development teams and manage complex project deliveries.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in SAP EWM; the posting also references 8+ years of experience for SAP implementation and client consulting.
- Expert-level proficiency in SAP EWM.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns for enterprise applications.
- Experience leading software development teams and managing complex project deliveries.
- Ability to analyze and optimize system performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools connecting SAP EWM with other enterprise systems.
- Experience with SAP implementation projects and client consulting is required.
- Knowledge of SAP standard solutions is required; Yard Logistics experience is welcome.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong communication, proactive working style, and ability to advise client stakeholders.
