Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web solutions using Node.js, Next.js, React, and Sitecore CMS.
- Build scalable, high-performing customer-facing web applications and e-commerce websites and APIs.
- Collaborate on architecture and technical design decisions with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in code reviews, Scrum ceremonies, and iterative software delivery.
- Write unit tests and maintain code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Lead engineering initiatives when called upon.
- Maintain, enhance, and document existing systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide after-hours support when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting customer-facing e-commerce websites and APIs.
- At least 5 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- At least 3 years of experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks.
- At least 2 years of experience with React.js.
- At least 2 years of experience developing websites or applications running on Node.js.
- At least 1 year of experience with Agile software development methodologies and Scrum.
- Preferred qualifications include 7+ years of relevant experience, Git-based source control, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Next.js, automated testing frameworks, application performance tuning, analytics and experimentation platforms, and WCAG/ADA accessibility experience.
