Base Salary
$185k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design software architecture specifications supporting functional and non-functional requirements.
- Guide and mentor matrixed software engineering teams, including architects, developers, testers, and DevOps engineers.
- Establish and enforce software engineering standards, guidelines, processes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with product management, business units, and technology teams to translate customer and business needs into software solutions.
- Research and evaluate technologies, frameworks, libraries, and tools and recommend their adoption and integration.
- Monitor software performance, quality, security, and scalability and resolve issues or risks.
- Document and present software architecture, design, and implementation to executives, customers, partners, and vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of software architecture and design experience.
- Prior experience in banking or fintech.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and delivering complex, scalable software solutions for online and mobile applications.
- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with programming languages, frameworks, platforms, and tools including Java, Python, C#, .NET, Node.js, React, Angular, Vue, Flutter, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of modern architecture principles and patterns, software engineering standards, and emerging technologies including AI, machine learning, big data, IoT, and blockchain.
- Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative environment.
