Base Salary
$198k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture for enterprise-scale trading platforms supporting more than $1 trillion in assets.
- Define target-state architecture across Broker Dealer, Advisory, and Models capabilities.
- Partner with executive, business, product, and technology leadership to align architecture strategy with enterprise priorities.
- Lead modernization initiatives involving AWS cloud adoption, API-first design, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Establish enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and reusable assets focused on scalability, performance, security, governance, and compliance.
- Drive adoption of AI/ML, real-time data platforms, and blockchain-based capabilities.
- Guide domain architects and influence enterprise-wide architectural consistency and quality.
- Provide strategic guidance on architecture roadmaps, build-versus-buy decisions, and industry best practices.
- Champion Architecture as Code to support scalable governance and continuous delivery.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience designing enterprise-scale architectures, including microservices and event-driven systems.
- At least 5 years of experience in trading technology domains such as equities, ETFs, options, or wealth platforms.
- Experience with trading systems including OMS/EMS platforms, FIX protocol, and market data infrastructure.
- Experience leading AWS cloud transformation initiatives and modernizing legacy platforms.
- Experience defining and executing long-term architecture strategies and roadmaps.
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong executive communication, influence, and hands-on technical leadership skills.
