Base Salary

$200k - $275k/yr

Responsibilities

Own large portions of the application and drive major features from start to finish.
Build and ship generative-AI-powered user experiences, natural-language commands, and AI agents.
Develop safe and impactful AI-driven features for real-world customer problems.
Scale the platform to process terabytes of data from varied sources.
Query and notify users about data in real time and optimize search algorithms for fast results.
Collaborate with engineers, deployment teams, users, and cross-functional stakeholders to iterate on production software.
Write robust, well-tested, well-designed code and deploy software components to users.

Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
More than 8 years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
Experience shipping and iterating on production-grade software professionally or in the open-source community.
Understanding of responsible generative-AI practices; experience applying LLMs to improve user experience is a bonus.
Ability to architect and scale distributed software systems.
Strong modern software-development practices and comfort navigating large codebases.
Excellent technical vision and ability to turn product requests into reliable software components.
Located in NYC and open to working in the office.
