Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the firm's technology platforms.
- Take ownership of product vision and improve products and platforms.
- Design and implement business solutions in agile squads.
- Transform business requirements into clean, optimized code.
- Implement integrations and HTTP/HTTPS and REST interfaces and services.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.
- Write unit tests and contribute to test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in technical solution design and architecture discussions.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to support end-to-end delivery.
- Report on project status and learn in-house frameworks and Java best practices.
- Follow technology and data policies, procedures, and SDLC/PLC requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's-level qualification in Computer Science or a related field, with listed qualifications including B.E., B.Tech, M.E., MCA, M.Tech, or MBA.
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience with Core Java, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JUnit.
- Strong object-oriented programming and design-pattern knowledge with practical development experience.
- Experience developing microservices and designing and implementing solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with HTTP/HTTPS, REST interfaces and services, frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, Angular, or React, and Git/GitHub.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, relational databases and SQL, including DB2, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Azure SQL.
- Experience with Linux, Unix, and shell scripting; Python or Perl and XML-based technologies are desirable.
- Experience with other application types such as web applications, batch processing, or streaming is desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with global teams.
