Base Salary
$183k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a portfolio management subject matter expert for the Americas markets.
- Partner with sales teams to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and tailor solutions to client requirements.
- Prepare and facilitate SimCorp One demonstrations, presentations, and client workshops.
- Meet with prospects and clients to understand their technology and systems and identify opportunities to use additional functionality.
- Review and prepare responses to RFIs and RFPs.
- Transfer detailed solution knowledge from the sales process to implementation teams after contract execution.
- Provide product teams with feedback on market trends and evolving client requirements.
- Mentor junior Solutions Engineers and support their development.
- Contribute to local and global demonstration systems for multiple financial-services verticals.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in the financial services industry with exposure to buy-side front-office functions.
- University degree in business or technology.
- Strong knowledge of buy-side portfolio management workflows, technologies, and competitive solutions, including portfolio management systems, risk analytics, portfolio optimization, and portfolio attribution.
- Experience with public and private asset classes, including fixed income, equities, and derivatives, with a primary focus on portfolio management and a secondary focus on trading and compliance.
- Knowledge of compliance, execution management systems, order management systems, and transaction cost analysis is desirable.
- Practical experience with SimCorp One and front-office workflows is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, relationship-building, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work methodically and effectively during high-demand projects, with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Willingness to travel as required.
