Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain Java backend applications.
Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend services.
Develop APIs and integrate applications with internal and external systems.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable Java code.
Participate in code reviews and follow development standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development and production environments.
Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, testers, and other stakeholders.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, unit testing, and automated testing practices.
Support application deployment and production releases.
Identify performance, scalability, and reliability improvements.
Research relevant technologies and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

At least 4 years of professional experience in Java development.
Strong hands-on experience in Java backend development and Core Java.
Knowledge of object-oriented programming, Spring/Spring Boot, SQL, and relational databases.
Experience developing APIs and backend services.
Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Experience with Git and standard software development practices.
Understanding of exception handling, logging, debugging, and performance considerations.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and accountability skills.
Preferred experience with Apache Kafka, Kafka producers and consumers, topics, partitions, offsets, and consumer groups.
Preferred experience with event-driven and asynchronous architectures, messaging systems, or distributed event-streaming technologies.
Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, NoSQL databases, JUnit, and Mockito.
