Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, implementation, deployment, and optimization of scalable AI-powered applications and services.
- Integrate and fine-tune large language models, particularly Gemini, for NLP and generative AI applications.
- Architect agentic AI systems and orchestrate complex workflows using ADK and LangGraph.
- Design API architectures and integrations with internal and external enterprise systems.
- Lead deployment and management of AI solutions on Google Cloud services including Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, and Cloud SQL.
- Establish code quality, software development, AIOps, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production reliability practices.
- Research AI, machine learning, and natural language processing advancements and translate them into business solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering leaders on strategy and delivery.
Requirements
- 13+ years of experience in AI engineering, including leading technical initiatives and solving complex real-world problems.
- Expert proficiency in Python and data science libraries including scikit-learn, pandas, and NumPy, as well as SQL.
- Extensive experience with FastAPI or Flask and deep hands-on experience with Google Vertex AI.
- Expert experience with large language models, particularly Gemini, including fine-tuning and deployment.
- Expertise developing conversational AI with platforms such as Dialogflow CX.
- Advanced knowledge of agentic AI principles, ADK, and LangGraph.
- Master-level experience with API design, complex integrations, and large-scale system management.
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform services including Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, GCS, and Cloud SQL.
- Practical experience with AIOps for deploying, monitoring, and managing AI models in production.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science, AI/ML engineering, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Ability to apply AI tools responsibly and ethically to improve productivity and solve business problems.
- Experience with Terraform is an asset; experience with Svelte, Angular, Django, Streamlit, or Taipy is a plus.
- Financial-services industry experience is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, stakeholder-influence, and technical leadership skills.
