Responsibilities
- Make architectural decisions and translate business requirements into stable, high-performance distributed microservices.
- Design memory-efficient, event-driven components for high-volume messaging and ecommerce workloads.
- Write scalable, robust, testable, and maintainable backend code primarily in Golang, with Python workflows.
- Conduct code analysis and rigorous peer reviews to improve product quality and delivery.
- Troubleshoot critical production issues and coordinate with the deployment team on CI/CD code deployment.
- Document technical specifications, including Godoc comments and API schemas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly relevant field.
- 10 years of professional backend software development experience.
- Production-level expertise in Go, including goroutines, channels, language constructs, idioms, and paradigms.
- Experience with Go web frameworks such as Revel, Gin, or Echo, router packages such as Gorilla Mux, templating, code generation, and dependency management.
- Hands-on Python experience for asynchronous backend scripting, services, or data utilities.
- Experience with microservices, scalable distributed infrastructure, event-driven systems, and product-based engineering environments.
- Working knowledge of relational databases using SQL and NoSQL environments.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Strong independent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Exposure to or experience with Ruby on Rails is preferred.
