Base Salary
$80k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, microservices, and server-side logic.
- Collaborate on database schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Develop backend solutions that scale to millions of users while optimizing throughput, latency, and cost.
- Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection and privacy compliance practices.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and participate in code reviews.
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems and troubleshoot production issues to support high availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Java, Go, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, or Express.js.
- Expertise with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability, effective communication, and a collaborative approach.
